SYMMETRY

Image
Symmetry Symmetry is that one shape is exactly like the other shape, when it is moved, rotated, or flipped. In mathematics especially in geometry an object is said to have symmetry, if it can be divided into two identical halves.  Reflection A reflection is a mirror image of the shape. An image will reflect through a line, known as the line of reflection.  What is a Line of Symmetry? A line of symmetry is a line that cuts an object into two parts that are mirror images of each other. A line of symmetry can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Some objects, like the shape of a heart, have only one line of symmetry. However, other shapes, like a rectangle, have two lines of symmetry. An equilateral triangle has three lines of symmetry Symmetrical objects If one shape is identical to another shape when rotated, moved, flipped then these shapes are said to be symmetrical. The objects that do not have any symmetry are said to be symmetrical. Please watch the below video for symmetrical and
